Shutterfly

Christmas is coming quickly! I can't wait to create my Christmas cards this year with Shutterfly. I haven't created cards with Shutterfly before and I am excited to make them this year. I had a chance to look through the cards the other day on there website and they have so many different ones its going to be hard to choose. You can see the holiday cards here. It is going to be hard for me to pick only a few pictures to put on the card. When you just had your first baby, you have so many pictures to choose from, and its going to be hard to narrow it down.

I have used shutterfly before to make a few photo books and I can not complain about the photo books. I love the ones that I had made. I also wanted to make some sort of baby announcement, but never got around to it. But you can check out their baby invitations here.

We also made a calender once to tell our families that we were expecting a baby. You can check out their calenders here.

Christmas will be here before I know it, and I haven't even started my shopping I should probably get my Christmas cards made first, before I forget about them.

Bloggers get 50 free holiday cards!!!! Just go here.

Happy Shopping!

Long time, No Post.

So I am not a good blogger, but I never thought I would be. A lot of changes in Joe and my life. I got a new job in April at Verizon Wireless as a tech support rep. I hate it. I pretend to like it, and I actually like every single part of the job, except the actual job. Oh well. Joe keeps telling me that I will never like any job that I have and I will always hate my job. Don't know if I believe him, but whatever, I just need to have children so I can just stay at home with them. Ha Like that will ever happen. Oh well.

We also bought a house in July. I love our house, its old and filled with character, and I can't wait to start fixing little things here and there, and making it our own. It will probably take us like 50 years, but hopefully we will get there.

We also got a dog, his name is Abner. He is a terror. I enjoy him when I am home alone, that way I have some company, but man does he need lots of attention. Sometimes I think he is worse than an infant, getting up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom, whining, waking me up. Then I look at his little face and forget all of that.

I am super excited for the holidays. I love this time of year. However, because of my job (we are open holidays and I will have to work) this year is going to be depressing. I will miss Christmas eve at my grandmas for the first time since I was born. I get mad just thinking about it. Life goes on I guess. Bah hum bug.

Worst Week Ever!

And the hits just keep on coming! Seriously, I hate hate hate cars! I'm seriously considering selling the cars, and getting a bus pass. Ok, not really, but right now it sounds good. I think everything that could have gone wrong with the cars, has gone wrong in the last seven days!

We had to repair my car. A lot more then we EVER wanted to put into it. But cheaper then a new one! Our new car got repaired from the hit and run in the parking lot before christmas, and we noticed one of the tires leaking air, well we took it in figuring it would just be a patch. Turns out need new tires! grrr. Oh and the cherry on top! Our new car has rust, NEW car, RUST! Seriously, I hope that nothing else goes wrong for a LONG LONG LONG time!

End vent!

Life

I was a little off with my prediction of Gordmans being open when I said they would. Their grand re-opening is set for April 24th. They have started calling people in, and we are packing up the clearence, and putting empty racks on palets, and putting them in storage. We are trying to clean out the store so they can prepare for the carpet that will be coming soon. Its a big mess!

On a different note, I have had some interviews, I try and not get to excited about job interviews, because I am usually disappointed. Hopefully something will work out.

Joe and I decided finally to sign the lease to live here for another year. It makes me sad and happy at the same time. Its nice to know where you will be and not have to worry about not having a place to live. But on the other hand, I don't want to live here anymore, I want to be in my own house, and not have noisey neighbors, and be able to do what I want with rooms! We looked at other places to rent but decided that it wasn't worth our time and energy to move to another apartment because we will just be moving again next August, and I am sure this time! I will not stay here for another YEAR! Plus the other places we looked at where not as nice as here! A couple of the places I was actually scared when walking through it!

Thats really all that is new with us!

Thanks for reading!

Snow Day From Work.

On saturday, I got a call at 7am in the morning, it was work. A water pipe had burst and they were not going to open on Saturday. They were going to try and be open on Sunday though. I got another call Saturday night, they weren't going to be open til Tuesday, and they were only hoping to open Tuesday. Well it's Tuesday, and they are still not open! I drove by there today and it looks like hopefully tomorrow will be the day, but who knows! I don't have to work until Thursday, and I'm sure they will be open by then!

Things around here are pretty much the same, going to work and coming home. Well for Joe anyway. We are searching for somewhere else to live next year, but aren't finding much. All the places we call don't answer and they don't call us back either! Its frusterating when they don't call you back! We will probably end up living here for another year, but aren't looking forward to it. Lots of partying college students! It gets pretty loud here sometimes, but for the last couple of weeks they have been pretty quiet!

January!!!!!!

On the 1st it was my grandpa's 77th birthday. We quickly celebrated with him and were on our way down to Ames for Joe's sisters wedding. The wedding was beautiful and we had a good time with family. I was a little nervous about staying in one hotel room with 6 people. It was a two bedroom suite but only one bathroom. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, and I never had to wait for the bathroom! Everyone had different times to be places so the bathroom wasn't really an issue.

After the wedding and during it for that matter, I realized how much I miss my wedding day. It was such a fun day, and it went so fast! I told Joe the other day I wanted a divorce, so we could get married again! I miss my dress, I want to wear it again! Now its in a box in my old bedroom at my parents house, I can only look at the front of it :( Also, I think one of the reasons I miss my wedding day so much is because Joe and I waited so long to get married, we were engaged for two years, and had been planning on getting married for like four years, and it was all over in one day!

Christmas is over, the wedding is over, its back to reality for us.

Christmas

Christmas has already come and gone! I can't believe how fast it came and went. I was fortunate to get Christmas Eve off, and was able to go home on Monday, and stay until Christmas. Joe also got Christmas Eve off, so we at least got to spend one day together. On Christmas Eve, we went to my grandma and grandpas house. We have done that ever since I was born. We always go over to their house after church, and open gifts, and stockings, and eat chilli. On Christmas day, we went to my aunt and uncles house! We just eat on Christmas day, we don't exchange gifts! I am thankful for that, we have enough gifts to buy! Its nice to just be able to sit and chat with family!

After Sunday, I won't be working for about a week! I am so pumped. On New Year's Eve we are going down to Fairmont, and staying at my house. On New Years Day its my grandpa's birthday. My family is hosting his birthday party this year! After his party is over, Joe and I will be heading down to his sisters wedding! It has been a busy week, and the next one looks like its going to be just as busy!
